International Delegations Explore Investment Opportunities at SIDC
Orascom Industrial Parks welcomed several high-level international delegations to the Sokhna Industrial Development Complex (SIDC) during January, supporting Egypt’s growing position as a regional manufacturing and investment hub.
In January, Orascom IP hosted delegations from several countries, including:
- South Korea: led by H.E. Yeo Han-Koo, Minister of Trade.
- Romania: H.E. Ms. Clara Volintiru, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Ms. Olivia Toderean, Ambassador, accompanied by Romanian CEOs and senior executives.
- India: H.E. Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador to Egypt.
- Canada: a delegation from the Egypt–Canadian Business Council.
These visits included tours of the park and key client facilities, such as GB Bus and Siraj Lighting, with technical briefings provided where relevant. Discussions focused on investment incentives within the Suez Canal Economic Zone, opportunities to strengthen industrial cooperation, and trade collaboration.
