Looking to expand after the success of our first industrial park in Sokhna, Orascom IP signed a development agreement with Ahly Capital Holding in May 2022 to develop a 2.2 million sqm industrial park in Abu Rawash, Egypt (Giza governorate). Abu Rawash is an industrial zone that lies on the outskirts of Cairo, within the Giza governorate. It is conveniently
located to the major Egyptian highway networks.
The Abu Rawash project plans to become one of the leading eco-industrial parks within the area. Stakeholders will enjoy enhanced environmental, economic, and social performance, assuring the net impact of its development stays positive. The foundation of this project is the Industries 4.0 concept, which consists of 4G intelligent city technologies built into its infrastructure.
