The Japanese company Saraya Middle East for Industrial Investment officially opened its USD12-million new factory on 25 June, at Orascom Industrial Parks within the Sokhna Integrated Zone which is part of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).
Saraya is a leading global manufacturer of sanitation and hygiene products. Their line of business extends from hand hygiene products to all forms of sanitation such as food safety, infection prevention and control, and public health, as well as functional foods.
Held at the Orascom Industrial Development site, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Waleid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of SCZone; Japanese Ambassador to Cairo Oka Hiroshi; and Saraya President Yusuke Saraya.
